1. Watch the following video:

1.) Describe the term ‘interactive TV’. Interactive tv is Internet tv which is basically contolling what you do on the tv insted of contolling the volume and the channel you can make purchases and send emails.


2.) Explain the reasons why interactive TV is now called TV 2.0. it is called 2.0. because it is the new interactive technology.
3.) Outline the positives and negatives of implementing interactive TV. The positives are that you can make purchases, and send e-mails via your tv. the negatives are that you would have to pay more money and buy a new box to use your tv.
4.) Apple released recently Apple TV – Take 2. Describe the reasons why it needed to be changed. the reasons why apple tv had to be changed was because they only sold 400,000 units, that is 600,000 units less than what they expected. the apple tv also had to provide videos on its itunes store which wasent happening.

1.) Explain the purpose of using ‘youtube’ as a source of digital media advertising? I

It is used as a source to upload vidoes to the internet and its purpose is to provide others with information from the videos they uploaded.


2.) Discuss how collaborative media sites such as youtube, myspace and bebo have changed the current boundaries of media such as news, advertising ect. 

 Youtube along with other collabrative sites have changed the boundaries by providing/posting private/personal information about themselves or others on the sites.

3.) Provide a link to an advertising commercial on youtube. this is a link to a coca-cola advertisment from youtube.

1.) Define the term ‘digital media’. Refers to any type of information in digital format including computer-generated text, graphics and animations


2.) How has digital media evolved over the last 5-10 years? Digital media has evolved over the past years through the new technology being developed and new softwares, and programs also being developed.

3.) Discuss the reasons why digital newspapers are extremely popular? Because it is easier to access and it informs peopke on the world their living in.

1.) Watch the following clip:

Scenario 1: You are on a train coming home from a day at the beach. The train stops at a station and a group a youths get on the train and start bashing an elderly ethnic man. You notice people getting off the train.
 

Discuss what you would do in this situation.  In this situation i would try not to get myself hurt. I would then call the police and get some other people on the train to help the man.

 Scenario 2: You get a message from a girl that you are interested asking you to come over her house. When you get there a number of her friends are present and they say they are bored. One of them promotes the idea of going for a walk and causing a riot. At first you tell them “No way”. However, the girl you like states that “she will like you more if you go”.

Discuss what you would do in this situation. In this situation i would keep my mind made up and tell them that there is noway that i would do such a thing. After that i would try to convience them not to go and also think of another game to play.

 Describe what is a person’s ‘conscience’. A persons conscience is what they believe/feel to be wrong or right.

Describe how a persons conscience works in making moral decisions. Explain the relationship between religion and conscience. A persons conscience works in moral descisions by helping them to realise what they are doing and the outcomes of it. It also makes them realise the people that will be affect after they do it. Religion has some relationships with conscience. Religion tells you to do the right thing and follow in Jesus, your conscience also helps you to realise what you’re doing and changes it so that you can do the right thing.

Discuss the reasons why the 25 year old man mentioned in the article would be regarded as having a lack of ‘moral maturity’.  He has a lack of moral maturity as he was acting very stupid and was injuring and endangering other people and their lives.3.) Identify the differences between ‘morality’ and ‘immorality’. morality is doing the right thing and obeying the law  and immorality is doing the wrong thing.4.) Watch the following clip and describe the reasons why Governor Spitzer’s actions would be regarded as ‘immoral’. Governor Spitzer was taken advantage of other humans (using them). he was also using his money to impress himself and turned against all the people supporting him.

1. How will you organise your multimedia sales pitch? List ideas, think about how the entry document was presented. our Multimedia sales pitch will be presented in the form of a podcast. we will be providing information to the audience infront of the podcast.

we will also be dressing up and performing it is a ACA show. Rehan will be Kevin Rudd, Matt will be the host with Tharsan the assistant host. Gaby and Darrell will be the professors.

1.) Which countries have banned the Internet?  China, Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Burma and Brazil are all some countries which have banned the internet. 2.) Describe what the following image is about? (Provide TWO websites to support your findings)This picture is showing the chinese flag in the background with a youtube sign and a Chinese person. It is showing that China has banned Youtube as the word “banned” is written across it. These are some sites which explains china’s ban on youtube: Google News and Youtube banned?

3.) Provide evidence of at least FIVE sources (Websites, newspapers, blogs, videos ect) that discuss the reasons why these countries have taken such a drastic approach. This is a website discussing youtube bans in schools, youtube erodes China’s image, Turkey’s modern founder insulted, teachers want youtube banned, Pakistan lifts ban.

4.) Discuss how you would feel if the Australian government banned the Internet. What privileges would you lose? (2 Paragraphs) I would feel upset if the Australian government banned the youtube service. I would feel angry because the service is a good resource.  I enjoy researching on youtube as it can be very helpful. it is also good for school assignments while creating powerpoints and movies. Youtube is also good to use during your freetime and just to watch some funny videos over the internet.

The role and responsibilities of the Newspaper Editor to have overall responsibility for the quality, accuracy and tone of their publication, or a section within it.

The Essential criteria of a Newspaper reporter is that they must:

  • They need to be able to speak English
  • They must be able to read English
  • They must be able to write in English
  • They must know the structure of a Newspaper
  • They must know briefly about their job and what happens

 

The Desirable criteria of a Newspaper Editor is that they must:

  • They must know how to edit newspapers
  • They must know their responsibilities
  • They must be enthusiastic and wanting to work
  • They must be a hard worker
