I have been using second life for 11 weeks of this term. I have learnt how to fly around, create objects, and edit my appearance in the site second life. In order to create my shirt which was the project we had to do I had to use Photoshop which is the program we used. I have never used Photoshop before in my life so it was difficult to use it for a start and even harder creating a shirt in it.In Photoshop I got used to the different types of tools and some techniques. with those techniques I created my jersey of the Parramatta eels. I customised the back and front of the jersey and also the sleeves of it. So far I am still getting to know second life and I am still not 100 % with the techniques and how to create objects. I have advanced my self in Photoshop and second life but I can still get better.I would still like to learn how to insert/create buildings and detailed objects in second life. Next term while creating a soccer field in groups I would learn more about all the different types of tools and techniques. I am finding it difficult getting used to Photoshop and second life but i will learn more and get better. When we start using second life next term in our groups I would need to focus more on creating things and how to do it in order to make a soccer field. By: Gaby Elsusu
